Health insurance for Parent Boost Visitor Visa applicants

Our tailored ParentStay Health Plan meets all Immigration New Zealand insurance requirements for the Parent Boost Visitor Visa – giving you and your clients peace of mind. ParentStay provides cover for:

  • Emergency Medical Care up to $250,000 per year
  • Cancer Care up to $100,000 per year
  • Medical Repatriation up to $250,000
  • Return of Remains up to $50,000
  • Mental Health  up to $1,000 per year

The Parent Boost Visitor Visa was created to support family connection by allowing parents to stay in New Zealand for up to 10 years. A requirement of the visa is insurance; this is to help manage demand on New Zealand's healthcare system. Like most insurance, ParentStay is designed to cover the unexpected and it is an expectation of the visa that visa holders return to their country of origin for any non-essential medical treatment.

Eligibility criteria and terms and conditions apply, please refer to the ParentStay Health Plan document for further information.
